The Artison Fire at Old Time Tap | April 15, 2023
Last night, I had the pleasure of checking out The Artison Fire at Old Time Tap to celebrate guitarist Mike's birthday.
The band brought their signature pop punk/emo sound to the stage and the energy was palpable.
The Artison Fire is composed of Fuzzy on vocals, Mike and Hector on guitar, Andy on bass, and Victor on drums. Their chemistry was undeniable and it was clear that they were having a blast performing together.
The stage area was packed so tight that Fuzzy was practically sharing the mic with adoring fans, adding to the excitement and energy of the performance.
They closed their set with their original song, “Wreck of the Week,” a high energy/high intensity song that was not only great to hear, but to watch as the guitars and bass seemingly tumbled around the middle of the stage.
As a photographer, it was nostalgic for me to capture the band's performance. I reflected back on my teen years when I was just a girl with a camera that took photos of some of these guys. It was amazing to see how far they've come as musicians and how they mesh together to create this new rich sound.
Overall, The Artison Fire's show was unforgettable. The band's energy and passion for their music was contagious and left the audience wanting more. If you ever have the chance to see them perform live, don't miss out!
